In our poster we present the NFFA-DI infrastructure as a powerful usecase of NOMAD Oasis. NFFA-DI is an italian distributed infrastructure dedicated to nanoscience research activities from sample production and caracterization to theoretical modelling, allowing users to access multiple state-of-the-art facilities with a single scientific proposal.
One of the strategic challenges faced by NFFA-DI is the integration of the data management in a digital framework which is compliant to the FAIR principles by construction.
This FAIR-by-design approach involves the upgrade of the laboratories to allow the user collecting data and metadata comprehensively. Digitalization, automation and logbook integration are the main kind of intervention performed on the NFFA-DI laboratories.
The entire NFFA-DI data infrastructure (https://nffa-di.it/en/data-infrastructure/) is powered with installation of NOMAD Oasis on each insitute of the infrastructure.
