Love Data Week is an international celebration promoting research data and their management. This year's theme, "Where's the Data?", will inspire discussions and events worldwide from February 9 to 13, 2026. Explore all events happening during International Love Data Week 2026 here.

The FAIRmat team will share their love for data with several contributions, including the online coffee talk "19M+ FAIR Data Entries and Growing  How NOMAD is Transforming Physics and Materials Research". Hosted by Siamak Nakhaie on February 10, 2026, the talk will provide an overview of NOMAD, a free, web-based, community-driven data platform for experimental and computational materials research.

NOMAD supports physicists and materials scientists in various aspects of their research data management. As a repository, it enables exploration across 19 million FAIR data entries using advanced, user-friendly filters. Researchers can also use NOMAD for sharing and publishing data: upload raw files, inspect automatically extracted information, and manage access for selected collaborators (e.g., reviewers, via a single link). Beyond sharing, NOMAD supports dataset curation and publication, including DOI assignment for citation in manuscripts.

Join the discussion on February 10 at 12:00 CET to learn how NOMAD can improve your research data management practices. Celebrate the love of data with us  register below and join the conversation online!
