Description
The Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung (IKZ) in Berlin-Adlershof serves as an international center at the forefront of science and technology, dedicated to advancing innovation through crystalline materials. Our extensive research and development spectrum encompass fundamental research, applied studies, and pre-industrial research initiatives.
At IKZ, our objective is to fully digitize our research data management within the next decade. We are proud to be a part of the FAIRmat consortium. The FAIRmat project with its software platform NOMAD and NOMAD Oasis, plays an essential role in realizing our research data management goals. Specifically, we have implemented our own NOMAD Oasis instance as the central cornerstone of our research data management infrastructure.
In this presentation, we invite you to explore the NOMAD Oasis setup at IKZ Berlin. Discover how we seamlessly integrate NOMAD Oasis into our data management strategy, including the customization of our Oasis and the extensive functionalities we have already harnessed. Our presentation will also shed light on our approach to engaging users in the NOMAD Oasis system and the broader digital transformation. This collaborative endeavour involves schema development in close partnership with users and the FAIRmat team, and feedback channels to the NOMAD software development team. Join us on this journey towards a more digitally enabled and collaborative research landscape.
